The HISET or High School Equivalency Test was chosen to replace the GED test in many states. Once you pass the HiSET exam, you’ll have the valuable state-issued credential you need to advance your career or continue your education. If you want to pursue an exciting career or continue your education, then receiving your high school equivalency certificate is the most important step you can take. Colleges as well as many employers require a high school certificate. The HISET® exam is the new alternative to the GED® test and can help you obtain your state-issued high school equivalency credential.

Our free HiSET practice test is designed after the real test. Each subject test will present the same type of questions included on the real HiSET test.  Our database contains thousands of HiSET practice test questions. We have 70 different practice tests, and you’re welcome to take them as many times as you’d like.

The HiSET exam was developed to certify a candidate’s academic knowledge and learning skills equivalent to those acquired from four years of high school. In many of the states where the HiSET is available, it offered as a replacement for the GED test. The HiSET itself is almost identical to the “old” GED test. The 5 subjects included on the test are the same as the ones covered on the old GED test.

The HiSET® Exam is administered exclusively by Educational Testing Service (ETS). ETS is a non-profit that develops, administers, and scores more than 50 million tests annually.
